Lez, Not Led Zeppelin to Play Bonnaroo Festival It now appears that Led Zeppelin will not be playing Bonnaroo , although lead singer Robert Plant will still perform with Alison Krauss. Along with the Associated Press and other overly enthusiastic media outlets, jumping the gun on proclaiming another Zep re-union show. Alas. But perhaps it might still be a remote possibility? Lez Zeppelin...all female tribute band is playing there.....

Got killed last night in pool......

For you(like me) that don't pay attention to our political system: Iowa Senate approves statewide smoking ban I personally think that's great....of course it has to be approved by the House...

Pizza prices on the rise.
Over the past couple of weeks, a combination of poor crop yields and increased consumption have sent the price of flour through the roof. While wheat usually goes for $3 to $7 a bushel on the Minneapolis Commodities Exchange , it hit $25 a bushel last week. Over the past two weeks, the cost of a 50-lb bag of flour in New York City rose from $16 to $26. It was $9 in 2006. Cheese prices have also risen, although not as much.
In the short-term, this means a major spike in the price of pizza.

WINTER a poem by Abigail Elizabeth McIntyre...
SHIT, It's Cold !
The End

Lost a tough game last night, in two overtimes...Depending on how this weekend plays out I think the boys and I will be heading up to watch ISU take on Kansas State .

What to do tonight?? Work? Wine night? Basketball? Work?

E.L.E. : Everybody Love Everybody

What you want is not necessarily what you’re going to get….you have to work with what you’ve got!

Will Arnett’s foulmouthed, alcoholic, chain-smoking sportscaster in Semi-Pro was great! Ya Jive Turkey!!...Yeah I never load my gun!

Pool League tonight at Suzy's .

Deep Thought for the Day: I guess more bad things have been done in the name of progress than any other. I myself have been guilty of this. When I was a teen-ager, I stole a car anddrove it out into the desert and set it on fire. When the police showed up, I just shrugged and said, "Hey, progress."
Boy, did I have a lot to learn.

Would You Eat at This Restaurant.....

Deep Thought of the Day: I think my new thing will be to try to be a real happy guy. I'll just walk
around being real happy until some jerk says something stupid to me.

I would like it to be that way and I can put in the request but………….
It’s not going to be nearly as funny though when people don’t know the underlying conversation behind it.

I never start off driving to work on days like today intending to develop road rage knowing it’s going to take longer then normal but honestly how can you not start to get peeved when MLK was backed up to Hy-Vee and took me 25 minutes to get from Hy-Vee through the intersection at MLK and Hickman. And of course past Hickman, no traffic tie ups. It’s all those people who drive rear wheel drive vehicles and assume they can get up a steep icy hill without any problems. I’ve got a news flash for you.…you’re a bunch of idiots who made lots of people late to work today because you created one big long traffic jam. I so need to go home and punch my bag and get out my road rage!

Poor Stacy... :o Everybody should see the roads I live on......can you say mud volleyball court....the whole thing.....

Friday...me soooo happy!

Wear a sweater, honor Mr. Rogers . March 20th is being promoted as "Sweater Day" to honor Rogers, who died of cancer five years ago. A sweater was his trademark garb on "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood."

This weekend ...who knows....I do have two websites to work on, taxes that definitely need started, a 70's party on Saturday, and a house that is total disaster.

Even the snowmen are tired of winter............

Deep Thought of the Day: I wish scientists would come up with an ear of corn that was big and round, because then when you were eating it, it'd be fun to make chew marks in the shape of continents.

Have a great weekend!!!!!
