For several reasons....one was this meeting I had at 7am.... ...Can't say anything till it's official....but the initial feedback was all thumbs up!!!!

Awwww....that should make the day go better....

Last night we had a skeleton crew of softballers...hopefully it fills out by next week....and that Dirty Martini at Limey's last night sucked....

Tonight is Austin's first baseball game....This should be interesting as we haven't had many practices.....

Funhaters Saturday .....beware.... ...and If I'm still coherent... Funny Bone ...

Deep Thought of the Day:As the sleek new sports car wound its way up the tortuous road, Sedi thought back to the torture he had received ten minutes ago. "Ah, air conditioning", he thought as he aimed the vents toward the numerous whip marks on his legs, chest, and groinal area.

One Year Anniversity of this Blog....
Monday, April 14, 2008, 08:36 AM
How did it all start?..... Well it was cold wintery August 7th with the moon shining brightly across the darken skies as if saying "yo"......
So what am I doing for this special occasion...not much...one of us has to work...or at least act like.....
The Start....365 days ago.... relive those exciting moments here I got home early in the morning from driving around a bachelorette party and decided it was fine time to document pieces of my life on a daily basis...so that’s what I did. Took me a few hours to find a blog format I liked and install it...and then continuing customizing it since then....

The most viewed and commented on entry this past year was the Smoking Ban located here.....

I did add my favorite song of the week to the audio player from The Presidents of The United States...Ghosts Are Everywhere .

You just can't fix STUPID

for the ones that don't know...that's a possum....

The weekend: Yesterday, worked at home mostly ...baseball practice Saturday...hung out at Zimms and Wellmans Saturday night with some of the crew.......

Looks like Beth fell off the face of the planet....or none of here phones work.....

Softball practice tonight...........

Enough of the rain already.....but it is Friday
Friday, April 11, 2008, 09:07 AM

Life goes by pretty fast.
If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I do think we have enough rain!!!! So go ahead and stop!

Put a new song out on the audio player today....Gnarls Barkley - Charity Case from the new album The Odd Couple

Currently listening to..... The Presidents of the United States - Ghosts Are Everywhere

I think Billy Joel is here on Tuesday... Bon Jovi .... The Mayors Ride next Saturday....

Lets see baseball this weekend...first softball practice next week....yard, house work...you know domestic crap....

Persian Cat

Deep Thought of the Day: Better not take a dog on the space shuttle, because if he sticks his head out when you're coming home his face might burn up.

Have A Great Weekend!!!!

If only I had said I Can't

This ex-crap is getting old and bothersome…It’s “her” children not “ours”…One of the most selfish people I know….I feel so bad for the kids, almost wishing they were 18, so they didn’t have to go through this….Unfortunately they have so much to learn and understand as they are still developing their basic personalities. Having a selfish parent isn’t showing them the important things in life and how to get along with people. Of course this continues to tear me up inside…. OK...moving on.....

Might as well say pool is over...not a great night by any means...a couple shots of brilliance.....but not many....

Doesn't look like we'll be having baseball practice outside tonight....Hopefully we can have it at The Yard in Indianola .

Here's a good reasaon to receive hazard pay......

Aruba Thrusday and Friday.....

Picture of Denise, Julie, & I at Kildares the night before and a picture from our resort....notice the ocean

After returning our jeeps…that were soaked from a rain the night before…and paying 2.76 a litre….We went Snorkeling on a catamaran with a partially stocked bar….not just jungle punch….we hit two spots first one was farther up the coast….. Then we went out to the Antilla , the largest wreck in the Caribbean. This 440-foot German freighter was destroyed during World War II and is the largest wreck in the Caribbean. Partially submerged, this huge ship lies on her side in 60 feet of water.
While swimming around it to the back and eyes adjusting to about 30-40 feet down inside a cargo hold, I saw 3 sharks about 4 feet long…..first thought was …. Swim casually, but fast…..I made it back toe boat fast…I’m sure there weren’t dangerous…but I don’t care….

We did other stuff too….

Oh yeah the Sopranos Piano Bar …that was fun….Before that we ate at Fishes and More …..more great fish!!!!

Sorry I need to get back to work…

Back in the groove...it bites

Hey, it's a rental!

Pool League tonight...not looking forward to that....miss my ocean...
Won't even get started with the ex crap...... :-o

Put a new song out on the audio player yesterday....Jakob Dylan - Something Good This Way Comes

Aruba Wednesday:….
Here's what part of the view during breakfast looked like....yes, they are in love.

Kamikaze Renegade Jeep Race Competition ….wow that was so much fun…after taking what seemed like days to get back with the jeeps from the rental place…..we had a great day…..heading north and then around the east side of the island…..mostly off road...over volcantic rock and etc....

Lets see we saw
California Lighthouse - named for the off-shore wreck of the famous ship, “California.”
Alto Vista Chapel - the first chapel of Aruba
Bushiribana Gold Smelter - abandoned gold mines that were the center of Aruba’s gold rush 1800’s
Natural Bride – which is more a cove now…as it collapsed 3 years ago.
Donkey Sanctuary – they do have livestock….that was soooo not exciting… Plummer liked it.
Some caves – we didn’t actually see them , we hung out at the bar…..This is when I took one of the jeeps for a nice spin… ”It’s a Rental”

Tearing around on these jeeps, they had already been beat to hell, the tires were already shot…don’t take them on the white sand, Mike!

Of course in more populated traffic areas climbing from one jeep to another was a piece of cake……Now I know why dogs like having there heads up in the wind…..

We ended up having dinner at Driftwood, awesome food!…the owner goes out daily and catches the fish…Superb!!!!...Also had some sweet silverware?

We then proceeded to hit the local drinking establishments downtown….ended up at Kildares the Irish Pub( Their name will change to The Irish Pub co soon) They had The Lotus Band(70’s/80’s)wow they were awesome!!……Never danced that hard before...(or tried) The bartender needs help with dirty Martini's, yuk!

The night life didn’t really pick up until midnight……when they all came out….
