We lost Harvey Korman …..he was 81 Korman and Tim Conway doing the Dentist sketch from the Carol Burnett show.
The first team we played gave 100%...unlike us. It’s hard for me to sit there and watch a few go half fast through the game. Trust me it’s not everyone. I mean it is suppose to be a beer drinking league, which has become a Gatorade/vodka league due to the non-drinking rule….and we’re playing for lousy T-shirts….so I shouldn’t care, but I’m one that wants to improve and give it my all because I expect that out of others and I would hope they expect that out of me…Part of the reason I’m not on the field is because there are better options for the team(and I know this), even though I would love to be playing in the field…….I’m not willing to hurt the team, just to play…especially if someone else is a better fit at the position….etc…etc…alright enough of this……changed my mind one more thing....It just looks like no one is having fun.....I don't care if we actually win, as long as we're trying and having fun....
Do I really care that Sex and the City opens today?....not so much

Tuesday night, the boys and I played Monopoly for about 2 hours. Blaise and I put the hurt on Austin ...so it's only him and I left, he told me last night...he was going to beat me.
Old Men
An elderly man in south Georgia had owned a large farm for several years. He had a large pond in the back, fixed up nice; picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some apple and peach trees. The pond was properly shaped and fixed up for swimming.
One evening the old man decided to go down to the pond, as he hadn't been there for a while, and look it over. He grabbed a five gallon bucket to bring back some fruit. As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny dipping in his pond. He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end.
One of the women shouted to him, 'We're not coming out until you leave!'
The old man frowned, 'I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim naked or make you get out of the pond naked.' Holding the bucket up he said, 'I'm here to feed the alligator.'
Moral: Old men can still think fast
.....and YES Sedi found his phone......
Deep thought of the Day: Why do aliens in sci-fi films always speak English, with an American accent?

Mrs. Smoot should be hatching any day now......and she couldn't be happier. She used some colorful superlatives when describing what shes going through. This is how I meant to word it the other day.....
Deep Thought of the Day: Who is this amatuer cameraman that manages to get footage from all the major disasters?

Saw Indiana Jones over the weekend, not bad. It was nice to see the man in the hat back.Of course I had to hear about everything I missed at Havasu ….sounds like everyone made it back alive. Someday I won’t have all of these responsibilities, especially when the kids graduate and then I can run around ALL the time?
Rest of weekend: Went for a bike ride, some decent exercise, cleaned, got rid of more stupid VHS tapes(converting important ones to DVD), built 3 computers. Got my new one finished up of course locking myself out of CS3 , that’s not good…Damn Adobe …. Austin and I built him a computer, he’s learning a little, but doesn’t really care…which I understand….
Of course went to turn the air conditioning(first time since last summer) on Saturday...awwww...no cold air.....great!!!
Bought one of those High–speed bullet blender things at Younkers fro $20…the boys loved making their own smoothies/shakes. It was easy and not messy……Much better price then the actual Bullet for $60….Thanks to Shanan for pointing that out.
What’s up with half the Indianola middle school students being dropped off at school???? We don’t live in the district, so I don’t really have a choice….of course if we get to town early enough I still drop Austin off a little ways from school so he can walk. Majority of the others, just because there kids don’t want to walk or ride the bus…..That’s great people let those kids run your lives, so when they get older they won’t have a sense of self reliance, not saying it’s making this country soft

Have a Spectacular weekend!!!!
