Twisted games

Austin has a game tonight against Johnston, Blaise starts practice.

Riley hits 13 on Saturday.

Johneys gets dedicated next Wednesday at Hilton. Then we play Kansas...the outcome of that game may define our season, I hope it's close.

This is kinda of twisted.... SEGA Brings Gaming To Public Restroom Toilets

Tradition

I might actually like those stop light cameras if they were doing what they are in Sweden. The money they collect from speeding cameras goes into a lotto system for drivers that don't receive one.....These Drivers 'Win The Lottery' For Driving Under The Speed Limit

Whith all the so called technology advancements(sure most are very nice, but at what cost to humanity and the envirnoment??). traditions have become a thing of the past...want it now not later, twitter this, forget what happened 5 minutes ago what is happening right now....etc, etc,etc....Remember.. Those Who Forget History Are Doomed to Repeat It" ...usually the bad stuff.....

Austin played decent last night, but they were schooled by Ankeny. Jamie played fine, I was kinda surprised by most of the 3-pointers he threw up there with absolutely no form...one of two of them were thrown up with two hands. Maybe he was just having a bad game. It will be fun to see them play in the spring together, when they actually have decent coaching.
Us parents don't know what we can do. We don't mind losing, but our coaches can't coach. Even Becky felt sorry for what she saw....and of course this is at all levels. Several of the varsity are seriously wanting to leave the team, because they can't deal with the atrocious and unintelligent coaching that Indinaola boys basketball teams are dealing with. The thing that really bothers me is this freshman team is one of the better teams Indianola has had for some time and they are not going to be able to play at their full potential.

SUPER IMPRESSIVE...This kid should easily make the pros if he doesn't have any problems.

Deep Thought of the Day: If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did.".

Basketball in full swing.....

Most of the house is the cleanest it has been in the last 15 years.

Indians beat Creston last night. Austin had a very nice game. He had the most; points, assists, rebounds, and fouls for his team last night. I feel so sorry for the kids, they have one of the most talented teams Indianola has had for a while and horrible coaching. What kind of coach allows kids to continuously drive through presses instead of passing the ball to the open guys? Just one problem. Won't say anything about the referee actually picking on Austin . They play Jamie and the very good Ankeny team tonight....

The boys and I played alot of basketball over the holiday at the Y.

We won, where was Christopherson?

The A-Team was pretty decent. The actors were perfect fits to the originals!

Cool video of the step-by-step process of making a football. My only question is; how boring would it be to be performing these jobs for 30 some years??

I Guess It's Politically Incorrect

I've heard that Apple has scrapped plans for the new children's iPod after realizing that "iTouch Kids" is not a good product name.

In a pub quiz the other day I lost by just two points. The question was where do women mostly have curly hair? Apparently, it's Africa.

One of the other questions was to name two things commonly found in cells. It appears that "Blacks" and "Hispanics" is not the correct answer.

A new Muslim clothing shop opened in Burlington, but I've been banned from it after asking to look at some bomber jackets.

You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles - but at least they drive slowly in school zones.

A biker goes to the doctor with hearing problems. "Can you describe the symptoms to me?" asked the doctor. "Yes. Homer is a fat yellow lazy bastard and Marge is a skinny bird with big blue hair."

I just put a deposit down on a brand new Porsche and mentioned it on Facebook. I said, "I can't wait for the new 911 to arrive!" Next thing I know 4,000 Muslims have asked to be my friend!

Being a righteous man, when I checked into my hotel on a recent trip I said to the lady at the registration desk, "I hope the porn channel in my room is disabled." To which she replied, "No, it's regular porn - you sick bastard!"

Happy New Year!

Tron Legacy was way awesome. I'd seen Tron once before not the biggest fan, but this one was pretty cool. Especially going back and watching the original and all the cool connections between the two...

Whats up with this freezing rain stuff??

Busy day on the house today and the next two....maybe the kids will get the idea of what I was trying to purvey.

No pardon for Billy the Kid .

Pet Peeve of the Day: People that can't pick up after themselves at movie theaters. Now I'm not asking for people to pick up the popcorn that was dropped. Is it really that hard to pick up their popcorn bucket/bag and cup and throw them away on the way out the door?? You wouldn't just leave them laying around like that at home, would you?? Takes a second!
