The Indians put the punishment on Marshalltown last night. Austin didn't get to play until the 4 quarter, which he played all of it. This we're guessing is because he missed the entire first week of practice due to his surgery, even though he was at ever practice. Just not able to participate. Anyway....He ended up scoring more points than anyone on the team, etc... His entire team looked good, so it should be a fun season. Also saw Taylor play, haven't seen her for 3 years....The girls game really dragged on....Lots of whistles.....

One more day then the temp will actually go up 10 degrees for me....
The first challenge(I didn't think Creighton should have been one) is tomorrow night... Northern IA ...If we can win that we will have a great season. If we don't we'll still have a decent season.

Lane's B'day tomorrow.

Deep Thought of the Day: If we could just get everyone to close their eyes and visualize world peace for an hour, imagine how serene and quiet it would be until the looting started.

We lost Leslie Nielsen over the weekend.......

Wilma, I promise you; whatever scum did this, not one man on this force will rest one minute until he's behind bars...........Now, let's grab a bite to eat.

He was a funny guy!!! In tribute.......

Austin's first high school game tonight.....He's on the 'A' team, which would have actually really shocked me if he didn't make that after all his hard work and devotion. Even after missing the first week, because of his surgery.

Noses, the Grindstone, and a Guy Named Kurt. Nice article by Dr. Paustian.

Tangled was actually a very good movie, even for adults...

Hairball was great!!! Shorter than normal though...half as long as the last one....and no Motley Crue
Surprised attendees at Phil's before hand

Happy Turkey Day

Jackie is too crazy......but entertaining!! You would never see me consider most of these....

I remember reading about the Turducken back in college in the Wall Street Journal (required reading for my major). In fact I still have the clipping, I always thought it would be something neet to try. Every once in while while I'm moving stuff around I'll see the article, but haven't taken the time to read it for 10 years??? Anyway Jarred at worked asked who wanted to come over for some Turducken , nobody knew what it was until he started to explain it. Bottom line 15 pounder Costco $55...I'm thinking Christmas now.......

Kennesaw tonight.....

Everyone have a great Thanksgiving!

It is what it is

If you think you actually own your own property try this: Stop paying property taxes and watch yourself get evicted.

Austins first day of actual practice went fine, of course he was a week behind everyone else. Almost healed up....

Skating tonight, if there is no wind.

Tomorrow and Saturday.

What was happening a year ago, same start for baskeball......

All the walls are up on the addition, only took 1 day....rafters later today?

Deep Thought of the Day: I guess I kinda lost control, because in the middle of the play I ran up and lit the evil puppet villain on fire. No, I didn't. Just kidding. I just said that to help illustrate one of the human emotions, which is freaking out. Another emotion is greed, as when you kill someone for money, or something like that. Another emotion is generosity, as when you pay someone double what he paid for his stupid puppet.
