Austin plays at Hoover tonight....doubtful they have a chance...I know way to be positive dad!

Hairball for what I actually saw was great. Happy was happy....They got rid of Paul Stanley and went with Gene Simmons. Excellent choice on that!

Tailgate, yeah we tailgated for the fair for about 2 hours west of the grandstand that was fun. About half the Kamikazes were there, Kyle and Lyndsey were too. Lyndsey gave me some information I probably didn't want to know....but it can't hurt to know....

Tom = dancing fool......

Finally ate something around 11:30, something on a stick.....

Cindi took off with someones vehicle...

I talk too much...or I think too much, just don't want to do the wrong thing......Seems like things get construed wrong anyway...

Rich's B'day!

...and what Kris said about the distance last night, I still think that is lame.....

Looks like Foursquare will be dieing a fast death from the new Facebook Places, I still don't need the man to know where I am.

My text messaging out died at 12:00 eastern time last night, not handy when you're trying to figure out where people are or answer them...End of cycle and they messed up my phone...jessh!

Deep Thought of the Day:Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment?" I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth you'd probably be able to get a lot of free games.

Have a Great Weekend!

Hairball again
Thursday, August 19, 2010, 09:11 AM
Hairball tonight at the fair, should be a great time most of the Kamikazes are going and team on tap and etc...etc...lots of fun people are going. Supposedly Jill and Darla are saving us seats?? Last night they didn't seem too enthusiast about it, right Tom?

Austins first game is tomorrow at Hoover.....

Last night was one of the funnest steak rides for me this year....Except about the part of finding out someone is related to me... It was almost an old school steak ride, we did stop at the sweet spot for about 15 minutes, I did meet a couple new people.....and Kris even was able to talk to me, that was nice. Scott and Sue are heading to Guttenburg tomorrow for a romantic weekend. They are so lucky to have found each other!

Mind-Controlling Parasites Date Back Millions of Years...Yeah I can see this being part of the current problem.

Flashback
Three Years Ago; The Extreme Canoeing.... Actually had semi-liked the Nadas at this time....before the Ames incident!

First Day of High School
Wednesday, August 18, 2010, 10:00 AM
Austins off to his first day of High School....Remembering mine...wait...actually I don't remember.....He already knows most of the sophomores and juniors from playing sports with alot of them.....and of course Blaise is off to third grade....Had to run a special trip to Indianola this morning to delivery his tennis shoes......

Saturday going to see Chad Elliott perform...I'm sure he'll be swell.

Kinda messed up last night........Nothing new there.

Steak tonight.....be interesting to get back on that bike.....Bike trailer finally made it to my house yesterday....so do I use it tonight and load a cooler full of beer?

...and our country voted him and the rest of congress in....

Wow....Former Red Sox Pitcher Bill Lee, 63, Signs With Brockton Rox......jealous, my arm gave out years ago.....

Cool site this guy had a lot of free time he compiled a great many top 10 lists relating to TV/movies. When I say a great many I mean a great many......

Stephanie got her car last night after the REO Speedwagon concert.....very sweet!

Tomorrow night Hairball....lot of people going.....most of the Kamikazes are, our huge group from Waukee, and several others.

Deep Thought of the Day: It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.

Sleeping in the bathroom
Tuesday, August 17, 2010, 08:43 AM
Think Pink USA or Think Floyd USA or something like that tonight at the fair...that should be a good time!

Pretty boring night, mostly work...and I got nothing done....
I did stop by the softball game last night(Walker-Johnson) and of course we were short one...The best I could do was flip-flops.......

Jace got the luxury of sleeping in the bathroom last night. Punishment for locking a friend of his in the restroom earlier in the day...

....and that picture of Dori isn't Dori...I swear from that angle it's her.

Tom and his sheep shearing will be on IPTV tonight.

Living History Farms....is a naughty place

Didn't quite get the toe nail polish off last night.....

Secret ingredient

Secret ingredient found both in Cheese Wiz and Crazy Glue?

East side at the Fair…..We left and hauled the remaining crew back to Tony and Angies for a little swimming, not as much fun as it could have been. Brad had made tons of breakfast burritos and those hit the spot at 2am……

Saturday the boys weren’t the happiest with their dad as they were forced to work on the yard most of the afternoon before going to my class reunion. I did find out the next morning they watched 4 episodes of the A-Team after I left. Almost 4 hours of it….I guess I need to put a timer on the TV if I’m not around.

Class reunion was a blast, meeting up with about 1/4 of my class that I seldom see...then most of us went out to Jimenez's where they were having a family reunion, last time I was there was our senior party. Got to see Brian, Randy Sr., and Tanya, hadn't seen them since we graduated. Tanya not so hot and a total b@@ch. That was from her two brothers....so glad I didn't really see her...more from a distance....I thought it was kinda sad that about 15 others live within a 30 mile radius couldn't actually didn't want to make it. Kinda stuck up I guess.

Dunham at the fair, damn it. I’d love to see him, but not worth it if you’re not in the the front…..

Bobo the clown is gone……

Tom is in charge of the sheep shearing at the fair.

Finally slept last night!

Got locked in the house yesterday for an hour before the grill-out...damn door......awwww...after taking it all apart it finally moved enough with force to open.....damn old locks and stufffffffffffff....well there are a couple other ways out......

Kamikaze BBQ was fun: Cheri, Mike, Phil, Samantha, Andrew, Sarah, Cindy, Jen, Mark, Don, Tina, Tom, and Skip all made it. Of course the 8 people that had informed everyone they were coming, didn’t show. Jen ended up hurting her neck diving for a volleyball. Charles and Sara went to Vanilla Ice

As is often the case, those that are the most critical are long on advice and short on information
