FIFTY BUCKS IS FIFTY BUCKS

Morris and his wife Esther went to the state fair every year,

And every year Morris would say, 'Esther, I'd like to ride in that helicopter.'

Esther always replied, 'I know Morris, but that helicopter ride is fifty dollars, and fifty dollars is fifty dollars'

One year Esther and Morris went to the fair, and Morris said,

'Esther, I'm 85 years old. If I don't ride that helicopter, I might never get another chance.'

To this, Esther replied, 'Morris that helicopter ride is fifty dollars, and fifty dollars is fifty dollars.'

The pilot overheard the couple and said, 'Folks I'll make you a deal. I'll take the both of you for a ride.. If you can stay quiet for the entire ride and don't say a word I won't charge you a penny! But if you say one word it's fifty dollars.'

Morris and Esther agreed and up they went.

The pilot did all kinds of fancy maneuvers, but not a word was heard.

He did his daredevil tricks over and over again, but still not a word.

When they landed, the pilot turned to Morris and said, 'By golly, I did everything I could to get you to yell out, but you didn't. I'm impressed!'

Morris replied, 'Well, to tell you the truth, I almost said something when Esther fell out, but you know, fifty dollars is fifty dollars!'

Ok, Facebook users you may want to read this...How Facebook Pulled a Privacy Bait and Switch...that picture almost looks like Vernon

Frozen Crabs & the Blonde Stewardess
A lawyer boarded an airplane in New Orleans with a box of frozen crabs and asked a blonde stewardess to take care of them for him. She took the box and promised to put it in the crew's refrigerator.

He advised her that he was holding her personally responsible for them staying frozen, mentioning in a very haughty manner that he was a lawyer, and proceeded to rant at her about what would happen if she let them thaw out. Needless to say, she was annoyed by his behavior.

Shortly before landing in New York , she used the intercom to announce to the entire cabin,
"Would the lawyer who gave me the crabs, in New Orleans , please raise your hand?"

Not one hand went up .... so she took them home and ate them.

Two lessons here:

1. Lawyers aren't as smart as they think they are.
2. Blondes aren't as dumb as most folk think.

What a nice Mothers Day!

Wow Blaise had a very nice game last night(fielding not the best), he went 3 for 3 with all hits being doubles. This is with him being 8 playing with all 9-10 year olds. Helping his team win their 6th in the row. This will not go on forever, as the season progresses other teams should be improving, but we have about 4-5 kids that are not. No matter what the coach does or tires with them. It's all for fun, but it's more fun watching them improve win or lose.

Austin had a great game too, of course I missed it. He pitched the first 3 innings and did very well. He hit the ball every time he was up and went 2 for 3.

The even more awesome thing last night, most of the family got to watch the boys have great games. 5 cousins,4 aunts and uncles, both sets of grandparents. That was very nice to see them get to enjoy such fun games with the boys playing well.

I don't know whats going on; if I'm putting out vives or what, but suddenly everybody wants to set me up with their friend, sister, mom, colleague, or whatever. At least everyone cares about me. I'm pretty happy with Jen, so too bad.

Yes Iron Man 2 was cool, of course the title sucks. The boys liked it alot too. Make sure you stick around after the credits( they are long credits).

The movie had easter eggs or bits and pieces of each of these in it.

Deep Thought of the Day: If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it

Wow ...talk about a rough life... Vikings rookie free agent overcomes damn near everything

Blaise's team is still undefeated, I'm not sure how. We have a couple kids that just can't play baseball, but I still give them the same possibilities to play like everyone else. They definately aren't improving, no matter how much special attention they get. On top of that one of them will not behave or be quite when we are trying to talk to the team. I guess he should enjoy the extra running.

Iron Man 2 this afternoon with the boys, I won't say what I did last night.

No games until Sunday...

Work..work...this wkd, you have a great one!

Who is Cinco De Mayo?
Thursday, May 6, 2010, 10:17 AM
Jace asked his mom yesterday "Who is Cinco De Mayo ?".
Hope everyone had a great one yesterday!

At least 40 bikers at Kenny's last night for steak ride.

Blaise has another game tonight. Austin is going to try his hand at umpiring at one of the games tonight. Give him some added responsibility, can't hurt!

Track is done, painlessly after S.E. Polk Tuesday night, I shouldn't have to do that again unless Blaise goes out when he gets older.

Hope the weather sucks in Vegas .
