Day #14284
Wednesday, September 15, 2010, 10:52 AM
Army crew tears apart, rebuilds Jeep in four minutes

One reason I have always had my eyes open looking for an old Willey's. Simplistic!

Pool league tonight & Kickball tonight too....

Jennifer is having a party for work and full adult beverages are supplied on Friday. Is Marshalltown too far or too close??

Two boys, two starting quarterbacks on Thursday.....Wish it was as good as it sounds. I think Blaise's team they are just taking turns every game....When he puts the pads on next year he will be well over weight for a back position.

Marijuana on Four Ballots

This Civil War thing is getting old!!

Softball on Monday night was normal, didn't break anything...I think I need to get off that kick....

Deep Thought of the Day: It would be terrible if the Red Cross Bloodmobile got into an accident. No, wait. That would be good because if anyone needed it, the blood would be right there.

Austin's B'day - 15th
Monday, September 13, 2010, 10:40 AM
Does not seem possible that Austin is 15 today, I can still remember realizing it was a boy and how happy I was. Not that I would not be happy with a girl. It's the I know what boys do with girl thing.....

H.O.P.A.....funny

Media player got corrupted yesterday.

Friday night Austin and I went to SouthRidge and saw The Expendables.....little violent....but exactly what was promised...Wow that mall, if you can call it that. Kinda filled with Hispanics...nothing wrong with that, just felt different. Maybe I should get out more.

Game on Saturday not pleasant...I would have hoped ISU could have given some fight....

Spent all day yesterday cleaning and organizing for Austins b'day last night. Talk about relatives not wanting to go home. Just kidding, it was a fun time. Except for Jaren backing over my sign( I think it was intentional). I actually got to see some of Michael Vick playing between the kids running around and grandma asking questions. He looked really good.

Jaren and Dad actually complimented me on my barn, about how neat it was and things like that don't come by everyday. This is after I've had it for 15 years. Now they understand why I've considered wanting to spend the money to move it with me.

Both boys have games on Thursday.

R.E.D. & Hereafter

Deep Thought of the Day: Often, when I am reading a good book, I stop and thank my teacher. That is, I used to, until she got an unlisted number.

Catch up
Friday, September 10, 2010, 10:15 AM
Friday went down to Blues on Grand with a few Kamikazes..probably be the last time I make it down there......Fun and very nice night.

Saturday didn't' exactly turn out like it was suppose to Terrance still isn't happy with me, but I did get a few things done and spent some time with my brother and parents and sister in law while not losing any money.

Sunday BBQ at Sheryl and Tyler's

About 45 minutes later.....That was a lot of fun!

Monday me and the boys did some stuff and we worked on some of Austins FB skills...but he thinks he knows it all, so it doesn't help... and Austin had FB practice that night.

Losing Plummer has bothered me more than I realized it would. Not sure why. He had tons of people that were much closer to him then I....I don't know just something. He was special in a lot of ways(and not the helmet kind). I guess he was just that kind of guy.

Austin has a game tonight at Lincoln

Blaise has had two practice for football this week.

My neighbor and his water ways....

Yesterday was a busy day to say the least

Iowa City tomorrow.....

To see the record for this rivarly...click here....

The Five Most Annoying Things About Iowa Hawkeye Fans I kinda like #6 too....These are fairly true not for all but quite a few.

Kyles site Hunt Renter went live last week. My land will be on there later today. I think it may actually be a semi-winner.

Kickball on Wednesday was interesting to say the least and no we didn't win or come close.....but it was fun.

Pool starts next week.

Are You a Facebook Narcissist?...Duh...you really need researchers to point out that i can be "a gateway for hundreds of shallow relationships and emotionally detached communication."

Have a great weekend!!

I'm sad to say we finally lost Mike Plummer. It's hard for me to believe it. I'm lucky we had a nice long conversation two weeks ago today. It had been a while since I had talked to him, emails don't really count. Knowing him I figured he'd bounce back. I'm sure he was positive to the end. I still may do the Vegas and the Aruba thing, cause he would with or without me.

I've know Mike for at least 8 years. When I met him I was told he had less then two years left. The guy looked great! Full of life and energy. Every time I was around him, I would sponge off life and energy off of him and it would always recharge or refresh me....Feelings we should all have and strive for!

Of everyone I know he lived his life to the fullest more than anyone! We had several in-dept conversations about his beliefs. I've got to say if you really knew him, you would really like him. Now the way he treated women not so much, there were reasons behind that too. Sad thing is most of them deserved(not all) what they got. When him and Shawna finally hooked up....two of a kind...they seemed perfect for each other. This has to be very hard for her!

Remember these are my opinions, not necessarily right!

Mike would probably think I'm dumb for writing this....He definitely will be missed by a lot!

Lost Jeff Grayer
Friday, September 3, 2010, 10:04 AM
Austin played OK last night, he did have a 55 yard TD run.

ISU played OK too, they won. So thats a ggod start. Arnaud was not overly impressive on his throwing, shaking the rust off. TE Colin Franklin looked good, he needs to be utilized more.

Lost Jeff Grayer...that was a short stint. Hoiberg seems to know what he's doing. Considering either one didn't have much floor experience. That would be the main reason he left. Hoiberg wasn't going to let him be one of the floor coaches.

Blues tonight.......

Sad how no one knows what the others are doing around here. Blinders are on. Waste of mucho deniro...Continuing reinventing the wheel.

Man Gets Drunk and Shoots Company Server -- 'Office Space' Style...Who doesn't feel this way!!

Dragon's Revenge at Schlitterbahn Waterpark in New Braunfels, Texas

Something we may try to do before one of the games.

Have a great holiday weekend!!!
