Short Thursday...some more nice weather.

Shortest one yet….

Bike Ride last night…..NO……Last night was a FU-Mess. About 3pm I was informed that we were renaming a report and it was happening tonight. They asked me what had to happen for this…on this old antiquated system, which I have replaced with a new system, but until some report changes are OK’d we still have some on this one. I’m like I need a day to write code to go through and make changes and verify in the RS Server….Didn’t matter long story short I was there until 7…when I was suppose to be at Kenny’s Pub around 5:30…I guess there are some Wednesday’s towards the end of June, that I should be able to make. Went home and got some much needed sleep…maybe some push-ups too.

Got enough sleep last night that I feel I can take on the world or at least overthrow a few dictators, you know....the evil ones.

Received more information on the possible new client...might meet with them in NY vs. LA...Darn...Waiting on info from Brian so we can setup new product before mtg....

Tonight: Softball and then Charlie’s……

Favorite Song of the Day: ...To Be Loved – Papa Roach

Deep Thought of the Day: Is there anything more beautiful than a beautiful, beautiful flamingo, flying across in front of a beautiful sunset? And he's carrying a very beautiful rose in his beak, and also he's carrying a very beautiful painting with his feet. And also, you're drunk.

Nice Wednesday...so much to do.
Wednesday, May 16, 2007, 09:58 AM
Looks like I’ll probably be going to L.A. to meet with LA Models and NY Models. I don’t know when yet. Got an email this morning asking if I’d been there, then a reply asking if I wanted to go. Wonder if it will be about the same thing as N.Y.? Always available for free trips, even if I have to do some fun work….which is better then what I do know. Just got more details, I can’t discuss it all on here, but it will be a great opportunity for me…

BASEBALL
Last night the boys had baseball games. Blaise like normal looked so cute in his uniform running around the bases and his brother yells at him to slide. So he does into home plate, it was very cute. Just makes washing the dirt out more difficult.

Austin’s game was fun, I had 5 different pitchers. Matt, Jesse, Austin, Bryce, & Andy. We have a double header Friday night, so I was trying to get some practice for these guys. If you remember what I said about Jesse, he’s still the same. It’s going to take a while, and unfortunately it won’t be me. I can give him as much help as possible……Anyway he pitched the 3rd inning, never pitched before. He has bugged me about it since day one, I told him it would happen. He struck 3 of 4 out with 10 pitches…The crowd and his teammates went wild. Most of them couldn’t believe it. We had worked out a little before the game and he was throwing strikes, at this age that’s all you want. We beat the Tigers, so now we actually have a few wins. I think Friday night will be the deciding factor for the season for us.

Don’t you just love it when you work with people that aren’t competent and try to hide it, instead of just fixing the problem? Usually digging themselves in a hole. I got one of them here, tries to make me look bad in the process. Not going to mention Scott’s name. Unfortunately for him it’s not working….and yes everywhere I’ve worked these people are around, except maybe on the farm growing up….

Did I mention I’m tired….went to bed too late…hopefully that will change tonight, I'm planning on bike riding. I definitely need my beauty sleep, because it is catching up with me…...and I have lunch with this hot chick today....

Deep Thought for the Day: Even though he was an enemy of mine, I had to admit that what he had accomplished was a brilliant piece of strategy. First, he punched me, then he kicked me, then he punched me again.

Tuesday...with a gentle rain
Tuesday, May 15, 2007, 11:45 AM
This should be a short one.

After taking my truck to Stew Hansen’s again, since they couldn't figure it out yesterday, I’m at work. It’s slightly raining out….a nice cool day.

Need a few more hours sleep, should catch up tonight after Austin and Blaise’s baseball games.

Gretchy is being a bad sport this morning…..She’s going through Beth withdraw and taking it out on the Nicest, Sweetest, Caring guy I know…ME!
Update: according to Gretchen I forgot conceited and ego driven

Last night ended up going to the batting cages at Grand Slam USA with Julie. She bruised her hand, swinging the bat. It was all purple after about an hour. She claimed it didn’t hurt…trying to act tough and stuff. Afterwards we grabbed a bite at A.K.’s on Beaver. Janis was there, talked to her for a few minutes…happy as always. After we were there for about 45 minutes Lori walks in and by…still not wanting to talk to me…oh well. Julie and I had a nice conversation about life later at this park behind Well’s…as she was constantly being attacked by bloodsucking bats …..

Terrance Finally Wins!
Thats great! after all the trouble he's been having with his engines.
5/13 at I-35 Speedway

Deep Thought for the Day: Most people don't realize that large pieces of coral, which have been painted brown and attached to the skull by common wood screws, can make a child look like a dear.

WATCH THAT CHICKEN!!!!!

Monday and I'm Beat
Monday, May 14, 2007, 10:54 AM
DAMN I’m tired…on my feet for 9 hours at LAZERFest can do that.

Friday: Took the boys to Fabio’s going away party for awhile and then to Spiderman 3. They loved it. Got home and Fabio calls asking me if I can get the bus to Mi Mexico and drive everyone around….took me a few minutes to get him to understand that my boys were in bed and it’s not happening. He was slightly lit!

As of Friday evening Eric and his wife arrived in Phoenix for the duration and started his job today!

Saturday: The boys and I did the MS Walk. I think that was a good experience for the boys, met Sandy and group at the capital. Only had to carry Blaise about ½ mile, he did really well. It was a fun experience.

I did see mom on Mother’s day. I was probably a little too selfish yesterday, otherwise I would have spend more time with her.

LAZERFest on Sunday with thousands of my closest friends. It rocked, we had Bullets for my Valentine, Operator, Papa Roach, Fuel, Buck Cherry, Hinder, and some lesser know bands on the smaller stage.

I enjoyed Pap Roach more than anyone. Kinda disappointed in Operator, I like their SoulCrusher. Give them time….it’s still their first album.

You were surrounded by the continuous aroma of ganja during the shows, especially during Hinders “Get Stoned”

Lost Steph, Karen, Bill and Brent as they went backstage with Bullets for my Valentine….They had VIP passes…that was about 4pm….never saw them again.

During Papa Roach Cory and Annie’s went through the fight/make up/make out session....on a blanket in the middle of everyone...I doubt they realized that Papar Roach had played.

On A Sad Note: Sometimes I wonder why our society seems to continue a downward spiral, yesterday reaffirms some of it. LAZERFest was not an appropriate place for kids. Anybody there could have been drinking, as a responsible parent you keep your kids away from that until they are mature enough to handle the situation. Of course, think of all the people my age that aren’t mature enough to handle it. I’ve dated a few of them. Unfortunately there were kids ranging from ages 5 on up. I don’t know what age I would say would be appropriate for the concert, probably 18…17. I know I wouldn’t want my kids there until that age. As I was watching the concert a group of Austin’s friends found me, I’ve coached most them in baseball; they range from 11-13. Apparently their parents thought this would be a good experience for them, maybe a different line-up of bands would have been appropriate for these kids. Even when you see a 6 year is walking through the crowd by the speakers, come on people…Do you care about your kids? Ok enough about my opinions.

Eric, Colin and I were screwing around and my sunglasses fell off in front of this woman. I picked them up and she said something, I asked her what she said. The next thing I know her boyfriend/husband (insecure guy) she was with was in my face (he had a face of a bulldog) asking me what the hell I’m doing. I’m like….awww picking these up as I flip the sunglasses in front of his face. No worries, I would’ve had him off balance if would have tried to pull something….he would have been out in seconds.

Saw about 40 people I knew…some from work, friends from DSM, friends from Indianola….I’m actually surprise I didn’t know more people….Oh yes I was “Shilo” yesterday…..

My friends the Renders were on top of the house watching some of the concert, they live right beside the field….I noticed they had there kids get down when every other work was F*CK

Many sunburn people...after yesterday, there were also some fine looking girls mixed in with the crowd….luckily for me Kari was pointing them out for me…..

Concert got over about 11pm. It was good, sunny.

Tonight: Not going to The Killers...just don't feel like 2 days in a row, plus I had saw them last fall..Bike riding or batting cages with Julie...I know I mucho worko to do as su casa!

Wow!! The ex...must have broke up with her boyfriend because she is being a total BITCH...All it's doing is hurting my kids....

Deep Thoughts for the Day: When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

Nice Friday not to be at Work....but I am.
Friday, May 11, 2007, 10:08 AM
We had softball last night, just pulverized the other team….wasn’t even fun after a while. I batted twice, had 2 HR’s…I’m retiring for a while…. STATS; my last 4 at bats 4 HR’s…unfortunately none out, but that’s OK if I don’t tell anyone.
The reason I’m retiring I snapped my tendon in my elbow, it was bad too. I think I may have an understanding of what actually is going on. I will be seeing a different orth this time around. I think the tendon moves over the bone or muscle then when I extend it, it snaps over it back into place. Inflaming the damn thing for quite some time. We’ll see what Temp’s doc says.

Note about Sedi: He needs to relax when we are winning by 25 runs. You know, don't take it so serious..have fun. We should always be having fun.

You know Iowa may not be my first choice, but the Iowa apparel on Sara was nice…she was the catcher....Dave had to point this out to me. Then Beth had to bring this up later.

After softball we went to Charlie’s, the first big Thursday of the year. Valley Junction’s thing started last night too, so that helped. Talked to a lot of people I know and haven’t seen for a while. Had a couple girls come up to and touch me and “You do exist”. Do I need to tell them my kids are priority; that I can’t go out every night. Even if I could I wouldn’t want to, I have more important things to do? To each their own. It was a fun night!!
On a different note: It doesn’t make any sense why people need to point certain things out to me, last night I had 4 people point out that someone was there. As if I care or should be excited? I have no respect for this person, but they seem to think I need to know this and what’s going on with their life….maybe I need different friends. I'm honest and I don't play games, that's what I expect out of people..if I can't get that, I have little to no respect for that person. Like I said before though, no one is perfect.

Didn’t actually get much sleep, but I don’t feel like I’m dragging…yet. Would have got more sleep if Psycho bitch didn’t call at 2am. Didn’t answer, but the ring woke me up.

Got an email from "JC Whitney…SUBJECT; “Mom deserves something special.” Come on…That may be so, but not from JC Whitney.

Tonight: Is Fabio's going away shindig...Depending on how the boys are when I get them, will depend on if we're going. Possibly Spiderman 3 too, maybe get my hairs cut also??

Tomorrow-Saturday…The boys and I are going to walk in the MS Walk from the state capital in the morning. Then I think we’re helping my mom with some landscaping. Sat. night???

Sunday: Mothers day and LAZERfest

Monday: TJ offered me a ticket to The Killers at Val Air; I saw them in the fall. I need to actually go bike riding or some other personal stuff.

Useless Information for the Day: Green Jello, as the band were originally called, had to change their name to Green Jellÿ because of a law-suit from the Kraft Foods company for copyright infringement on the "Jello" brand name. This was 1992 and they had the hit video “Little Pig, Little Pig.” Laura and I heard it on the radio on the way to lunch yesterday.

Deep Thought for the Day : Driving down the street at 150 miles per hour with a friend of mine on cruise control. Both of us in the back seat. The police pulled us over. They don't know who to arrest, nobody's driving. So, they arrested us both. I'm on the witness stand. You know the rest.

OK, The sleep deprivation is catching up now.....
