Finally made it...Dead battery...then a flat on the way....awwwwww....Tire frozen against the hub, then the ground to soft to jack the pickup up far enough to change the tire.

HBS is fanally up nothing there, except a cool fly.

Austin won his game last night. Blaise has asked me 4 times already if they won last night. I have to keep telling him either they tied or we don't keep score....

Going to make a call on co-host this afternoon.....

Parkville Microbrew Fest was sweet....about 2000 of my closet friends enjoying adult sodas from 24 midwest microbreweries. I tasted between 40-50 beers from that and the after party.
We had the first groupie from the show, she was wanting Tom kinda bad. It took him awhile to shake her. I guess that camera turns the girls on. We shot a couple hours of footage, pieces we will actually use. It was a great trip.
Also meet with some perspective sponsors for the show. I can't even explain the positive attitude we got abnout the show. People want this...so we're going to give it to them.
Note: We had a sneek peak of Granite City's Seasonal Blueberry concoction, do not bother, it was bad...awwwww. The tapping for it happens today.

After finally getting back yesterday, had baseball, rode my bike for a short fast amount of time...then watched The Soloist . An extremely slow movie......

We lost Jack Kemp yesterday. Former Bills quarterback, presidential candidate, and congressman.....You know how I feel about politicians, but he did play football. This may sound shallow, but I wonder if my roockie card of him will increase in value?

Baseball starts into full swing tonight, as Blaise has his first game. Austin has another game. We have like 4-5 games this week.

Deep Thought of the Day: I can't stand cheap people. It makes me real mad when someone says something like, "Hey, when are you going to pay me that $100 you owe me?" or "Do you have that $50 you borrowed?" Man, quit being so cheap!

Windfall Tax on Retirement Income

Adding a tax to your retirement is simply another way of saying to the American people, you're so darn stupid that we're going to keep doing this until we drain every cent from you. That's what the Speaker of the House is saying. Read below...............

Nancy Pelosi wants a Windfall Tax on Retirement Income. In other words tax what you have made by investing toward your retirement.. This woman is a nut case! You aren't going to believe this.

Madam speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to put a Windfall Tax on all stock market profits (including Retirement fund, 401K and Mutual Funds! Alas, it is true - all to help the 12 Million Illegal Immigrants and other unemployed Minorities!

This woman is frightening.
She quotes...' We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income, (didn't Marx say something like this?), in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.' (I am not rich, are you?)

When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied:
'We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans'.'

( Read that quote again and again and let it sink in.) 'Lower your retirement, give it to others who have not worked as you have for it'.

Do people really question why I want to move to a different country??

Sportsmanship ...you know people are becoming more pathetic as time goes by, obviously in alot of different areas of life. It also seems like people are more accepting of this pathetic behavior. I'm not getting into paticulars, but when did it become correct to boo the refs and the opposing team at all sporting events??? Example at the Barnstormers game Saturday night....The ref made a correct call but from our angle it looked like it wasn't a touchdown and the cowrd erupts in to calling the ref, everything in the book. The boo's drowned out the entire arena....and he made the correct call. Trust me I don't like to lose, but they all sound and look pathetic. Scared the hell out of Blaise too when the yelling started. GROW UP PEOPLE!!!
