I give up. I know it was the first game of the season. With a senior quarterback, that each year I’m hoping comes out and looks more mature. IT DIDN’T HAPPEN. If this is the best we got, it’s going to be a long season. Hopefully Chizik is actually recruiting talent for the future. Last night, didn’t look any different from when MaCarney was there. Actually almost looked worse. Play calling sucked, now if that was the best plays for the scenarios the only excuse I want to hear is about how limited the talent is.
On the bright side, the alcohol can help and being around plenty of friends before, during, and after the game is great. Unfortunately for me football is my sport and pretty important when I let it….looks like I’m going to have to ignore more of it this year.
Funniest thing I heard last night..."Marcus there is no light in here"...some random chick in Kybo at game....actually it was Laura. Funnier at the time.

This weekend; No definate plans...maybe nothing. Weather should be great for the holiday weekend.

Man: "May I buy you a cocktail?"
Woman: "No thank you, alcohol is bad for my legs."
Man: "Sorry to hear that. Do they swell?"
Woman: "No, they spread."

Deep Thought for the Day: I think a good gift for the President would be a chocolate revolver. and since he is so busy, you'd probably have to run up to him real quick and give it to him.

Worked freakin late last night…until 11:30 and still not close to being caught up. Oh well.

ISU vs. Kent State tonight in Ames!!!! ....and that other team is playing in Chicago on Saturday.

I guess Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" wasn't just a cleaver song....she is messed up. I think the song is #12 in the audio player.

Drunken German joyrider kills 300 chickens

BERLIN - Three hundred chickens died in panic early on Sunday when a drunken German teenager on a joyride crashed a van into their shed, police said. "Apparently some of the chickens were so desperate to get away that they ran into the wall and died," the spokesman said. "Others suffered heart attacks." The 17-year-old from the western city of Kassel crashed the van through the wall of a shed containing around 1,000 birds and then returned to a nearby fairground where he was staying, according to a spokesman for the local police. The youth was arrested.

I’m back….been extremely busy and will be through Friday…at least for work.

This weekend Public Property is playing at the Briar Patch on Saturday…maybe Ozarks? Should be a nice holiday!! Mucho needo!

Are you willing to act stupid, because no one replys to your text, fast enough?
Does most everyone expect everyone to live with their cell phone? Why would anyone expect someone to respond to a text within 1 hour and 30 minutes after sending them a text? So much so they rip them apart on the next text. Of course they won’t answer the phone when called, let alone call the other person. I think people need to reevaluate there life, if it all hinges on texting……..It’s not as personable as some think….that’s probably more the younger people. I don't know about everyone, but I sometimes will go the whole day without the thing; especially if my kids are with me....just venting on stupidity.

Whatever obstacles you face today, I hope they can be solved this easily!

Blaise's soccer game and pictures were cancelled last night.
This weekend the boys and I are going to work on the yard and the house through Sunday. Football pictures tomorrow.

The Fire Fest is going on down off Court Ave. tomorrow night, with country singer Jason Brown performing....since there is no IA Cubs, might be something to take my kids to.

Sounds like MacDaddy and Nicole were enjoying the rain last night...maybe too much.

We're starting softball in little over a week...here are some of the players:Donnie Summerset, Beer Delivery Guy, Silky Southlawn, Dirty Dingus McGee, Muffin Face McKay, Womb Raider, Buster Cherry. Should be a fun season!
