THE DUMBEST GUY ON EARTH!
Monday, July 30, 2007, 09:12 AM - Cars

This picture is real - not doctored in any way - and was taken by a Transportation Supervisor for a company that delivers building materials for 84 Lumber. When he saw it in the parking lot of IHOP, he went to buy a camera to take pictures.

The car is still running, as can be witnessed by the exhaust

The driver finally came back after the police were called, and was found crouched behind the rear of the car, attempting to cut the twine around the load! Luckily, the police stopped him and had the load removed.

The materials were loaded at Home Depot. Their store manager said they made the customer sign a waiver.

While the plywood an d 2X4's are fairly obvious, what you can't see is the back seat, which contains - are you ready for this? - 10 bags of concrete @ 80 lbs. each.

They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs. Both back tires exploded, the wheels bent and the rear shocks were driven through the floorboard.

I'm back and I could be happier.....

Wednesday, the 1st Battalion of the 133rd Infantry, better known as the "Ironman" battalion due to their record setting deployment during World War 2, has returned home from another record deployment. After being gone from home for 22 months, and several months longer than expected due to the troop surge, all but two soldiers returned home to their families and grateful citizens in Waterloo, Iowa.

Didn’t get much done on the bus last night….another late night before leaving early tomorrow. Did get a few things done on the Kami site, some laundry, cleaned up some mess from the previous nights on the bus……

I had told Blaise we had sweet corn, so the entire ride home he was asking if we were having sweet corn. He went through 3 ears, like there was no tomorrow. Wait till next year when he’s missing some of those teeth; see how he likes it then. :)

Hard to say if I’ll update this site next week, its possible…but most updates if any will be on the TeamKamikaze site……we’re leaving first thing tomorrow morning…remind me what Terrance had called me about last night….I think its funny how society has found acceptance in some of that, but…………cryptic enough?

Also sometimes I talk too much, especially when someone wants to know the truth and you actually think they can handle it....but they don't. I guess just leave everyone to their own perception? …even if the ask.

Deep thought for the Day: If someone comes up to and offers to massage your shoulders. Let them, because hey it’s free!

Everyone have a great week!!!!!!

Of course SPAMALOT Rocked!!!
Thursday, July 19, 2007, 08:24 AM

What can I say…. Spamalot was awesome!!!!!! Sold out crowd. We had great seats, for getting them the day they went on sale for members. Had dinner at Court Ave Brewery then went and thoroughly enjoyed Spamalot. Even Stephanie and Emily who hadn’t ever seen Monty Python enjoyed it…..and they actually find the grail. On second thought you probably wouldn't like Spamalot, for it is a silly place! In honor of the show I have added Monty Python's Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life which they perform in the show...first song in the audio player.

People are so different, which is good and bad. Some are normal and some are totally out there. The ones out there think they are normal, of course what is normal? Majority Rules?? How about the Golden Rule? Treat others like you want to be treated. Of course, don't expect to be treated better then you treat others.....Remember life is short, so live it!

Tonight, Blaise and I are working on the bus. More mechanical things then anything, change filters & fluids. Austin is at Cub Scout camp this week...Backbone State Park....

Oh yeah! 2 days until RAGBRAI XXXV!!! You'll be able to check out our daily travel log and pictures at www.TeamKamikaze.com , if we update like we're suppose to.

Deep Thought for the Day: Ambition is like a frog sitting on a Venus Flytrap. The flytrap can bite and bite, but it won't bother the frog because it only has little tiny plant teeth. But some other stuff could happen and it could be like ambition.
