Another brilliant day in the freakin neighborhood.

Nothing much today....I got up, fed the boys. Got them to school and made it to work. Exciting!!! Oh yeah, I showered and dressed in there somewhere too.

Currently listening to: the soundtrack to Kill Bill Vol. 1 .

ISU vs. Missouri tonight....good luck to us....

Deep Thought of the Day: Anybody who has an identity problem had better wise up and get with the

No one Expects the Spanish Inquisition!!!

Jona's new blog....check it out

Watched The Bucket List last night....great movie. I feel like I can relate to them....except for the amount of money they have and the knowledge thing....other than that I'm right there.

Here's 10 Unique Keyboards.......

I wouldn't vote for her, mainly because of her ethics.
....but this is accurate too....
Quarterback for the Packers...
In a news conference Deanna Favre announced she will be the starting QB for the Packers this coming Sunday. Deanna asserts that she is qualified to be starting QB because she has spent the past 16 years married to Brett while he played QB for the Packers. During this period of time she became familiar with the definition of a corner blitz, and is now completely comfortable with other terminology of the Packers offense. A survey of Packers fans shows that 50% of those polled supported the move.

Does this sounds idiotic and unbelievable to you? Well, Hillary Clinton makes the same claims as to why she is qualified to be President and 50% of democrats polled agreed. She has never run a City, County, or State.
When told Hillary Clinton has experience because she has 8 years in the white house, Dick Morris stated "so has the pastry chef".

Ron White at the Civic Center ....Saturday

Deep Thought of the Day: Sometimes, when I drive across the desert in the middle of the night, with no other cars around, I start imagining: What if there were no civilization out there? No cities, no factories, no people? And then I think: No people or factories? Then who made this car? And this highway? And I get so confused I have to stick my head out the window into the driving rain - unless there's lightning, because I could get struck on the head by a bolt.

Not a great day...and it's freakin COLD!!!!

Don't want to talk about it.....

Don't want to talk about it.....

Great news Cape Town's Cricket club defeated across towns Orange Blossomers by a score of 20-13

Austin played four games on Saturday...winning the first one of the Osceola tournament and losing the next 2...then they played league later in the day in Ankeny where they won easily...The important thing is they are improving.

Coffee Cups
A group of alumni, all highly established in their respective
careers, got together for a visit with their old university professor. The conversation soon turned to complaints about the endless stress of work and life in general.

Offering his guests coffee, the professor went into the kitchen and soon returned with a large pot of coffee and an eclectic assortment of cups: porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal - some plain, some expensive, some quite exquisite.

Quietly he told them to help themselves to some fresh coffee.

When each of his former students had a cup of coffee in hand, the old professor quietly cleared his throat and began to patiently address the small gathering. ''You may have noticed that all of the nicer looking cups were taken up first, leaving behind the plainer and cheaper ones. While it is only natural for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is actually the source of much of your stress-related problems.'

He continued...''Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In fact, the cup merely disguises or dresses up what we drink. What each of you really wanted was coffee, not a cup, but you instinctively went for the best cups. Then you began eying each other's cups. Now consider this: Life is coffee. Jobs, money, and position in society are merely cups. They are just tools to shape and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not truly define nor change the quality of the Life we live. Often, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee that God has provided us...
God brews the coffee, but he does not supply the cups. Enjoy your
coffee!''

Some of the happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything they have!
I was married to one of these that didn't get it.....

Deep Thought of the Day: Too bad you can't buy a voodoo globe so that you could make the earth spin real fast and freak everybody out.

Sedi and I went skating last night...the best workout so far I've had skating....there was anywhere betwen 5-20 skating...giving me plenty of room to actually work on my skating ability...long ways to go before this summer's hockey league.

FYI: DO NOT WEAR a dress shirt under a sweatshirt...otherwise you will be picking lint off forever....

NO SLEEP…and not for the right reasons…..dragging ….is this day over?

Schooled Sedi the first game of Shuffleboard down at Zimm’s…then he brought his game back and that was the end…..Then he took on Amy and wasn't very nice with her...as he continued to show who is the big deal in Shuffleboard.

Blacken Jamaican Jerk Chicken Salad is SASSY…down at Buzzard Billy’s.

Can't wait to see the blog Jona's doing for school.

Tata Motors rolls out $2,500 car

Finally something I can afford and look cool in..... more information here. ...did I mention 54 MPG.

Deep Thought of the Day: Fear can sometimes be a useful emotion.
For instance, let's say you're an astronaut on the moon and you fear that your partner has been turned into Dracula. The next time he goes out for the moon pieces, wham!, you just slam the door behind him and blast off. He might call you on the radio and say he's not Dracula, but you just say, "Think again, bat man."
